Primed to Lead: Debra Tica Sanchez

Many legislative affairs professionals learned leadership lessons on Capitol Hill. Sanchez honed some of her skills in school. Before working as a government relations consultant, she taught special education in public high schools in Highland, Ind. and Arlington, Va. Seeking a change in pace and inspired by the promise of education policy, she started lobbying.
